Fairmont Hotel Macdonald Wedding

This summer has been filled with more intimate weddings and I was excited when I heard my two friends were going to tie the knot at the Fairmont Hotel Macdonald! Robyn and Ty met four years ago while playing soccer. Last summer, Ty took Robyn on a romantic boat ride and dinner one evening. After dinner, they went for a late-night walk through the legislature. During their walk, he got down on one knee and proposed to her. With everything going on this summer, they didn’t want to wait any longer. They had a beautiful ceremony with their closest friends and family at the Fairmont Hotel Macdonald.

Ceremony

They had planned to get married in the garden but of course, it’s Edmonton and it started to rain. Their ceremony got moved indoors but that didn’t matter because it turned out beautiful! I knew most of the people at their wedding and so wedding photos were filled with a lot of jokes and laughter the entire time. We were able to take advantage of the entire garden area and take photos throughout it. I’ve taken photos of Robyn and Ty before and they are such naturals in front of the camera. You can tell how in love these two are!

We headed inside to do the essential mask photo to document the time we are living in. (Or at least the essential photo to take this summer) After photos at the Fairmont, they headed back to their backyard for their reception. Congrats again to both of you! I am beyond excited to see what the future has in store for you guys!

You might not be able to see but their masks have bride, groom, bridesmaids, groomsmen written in the cornor of them. Soo cute!

Adam was a great assistant on their day and so it was only fitting that we did a mini photo shoot with him.
