Creekside Villa Canmore Wedding

How they met

Meghan and Sven had a Creekside Villa Canmore Wedding overlooking the mountains. It was a little smoky on their wedding day but it really added to the beautiful scenery in the mountains that day. Meghan and Sven were joined by their closest family and friends to celebrate their day. They tried to create a wedding that showcased the two of them together and I think they absolutely captured that. Meghan has her grandmother’s engagement ring that was bought by her grandfather at the end of World War II in Italy. Her ring is amazing and it’s really cool that she gets to wear her grandmother’s ring.

Meghan and Sven are two of the happiest people and I loved watching them smile and laugh with one another throughout the day. Sven really knows how to make Meghan smile and would just crack a joke or even just give her a look that would make them both start laughing. They are both veterinarians and so it was of course fitting that they included their dog, Lexi in their wedding. Lexi got to be apart of the whole day and I loved the sign that they had made for their bar, “Lexi’s Bar.” Adorable!

We headed over to the Canmore Engine Bridge for photos and some elk came out of the bushes as we were taking some photos. They captured everyone’s attention for a bit but we snuck a few photos in with them too. It was a beautiful day and congrats again Meghan and Sven!!
