St.Albert Newborn Photography

Meet baby Linus! How adorable is he? I absolutely love getting to do St.Albert Newborn Photography and meet all the adorable newborns. Linus decided he wasn’t going to sleep during his session, which was ok because we got some photos with his eyes open. There are multiple reasons why we try to get babies to sleep during their newborn session. One, when they are asleep, we are able to poisiton them how we want for photos. As in move their little toes and fingers into those adorable poses. Two, I will never shoot a baby when they are moving and safty comes first. When babies are awake they are more likely to move around. Sometimes we can’t help but have babies be wide awake the entire session, no matter how many tips I send you. The best thing to do is to wrap them all up and hope they fall asleep while wrapped up. Linus did not move when he was awake and wrapped up…which is amazing for awake photos of course.

Towards the end of the session, we had Linus’s toes peeking out in one of the baskets. His parents were soo excited to see his toes because he apparently doesn’t let them see his little toes. He will cry until they put socks on. Linus must get cold feet but I can say that I know how he feels for sure. Nobody likes cold feet lol
