I have known Sarah since Junior High and she has been a close friend of mine ever since. Sarah and Nathan have been dating for many many years and last year got engaged.  I was so excited when I first found out her and Nathan were expecting. Little Everett arrived on June 20th at 7 pounds 9 ounces! I first got to meet him at the newborn session and he was 9 days old then. He was sound asleep when he arrived and adorable as ever. Of course! He basically slept the entire session until the last few minutes and then he opened his eyes. I don’t think that has ever happened at one of my newborn sessions. I hope it happens at future newborn sessions too though! Since he was so sleepy, I was able to do a few different set ups with him. He made the cutest faces while sleeping and every once in awhile he would give us a bit of a smile.

Sarah wanted to include two teddy bears into a few photos. The Blue elephant was from his Grandma and the blue bear was from his Great Nanny. Since Everett was sound asleep, I just tucked his bears under his arms for the photos. I love how these turned out and will be great keepsake for his Grandma and Great Nanny too. This little guy stole my heart when I first saw him and again while I was writing this post. Maybe I am a bit biased since I know his parents but he is beyond adorable! He is so lucky to have the best parents too!
