Alberta Legislature Engagement Photos

Kelsey and Rob came to do a mini session a few months ago with me at the St.Albert Studio. I was doing a branding session for my website and needed some photos of me taking photos of a couple. It was great when I found out they were available to come in and do a mini session for me. I realized at this session that they were so easy to take photos of and were always smiling or laughing with one another. I loved the way the photos turned out from this session, and so I was pretty excited to do their engagement session!

Kelsey and Rob wanted to do their engagement session with the cherry blossoms. The cherry blossoms in Edmonton can be so unpredictable because they always bloom at different times every year. As soon as we see the trees starting to bloom, then we try to get the session booked in as soon as we can. We first went to Henrietta Muir Edwards Park to do a few photos. The park has a ton of the blossom trees, and there weren’t many people there. (thank goodness) I knew ahead of time that these two were going to be so easy to take photos of and turned out to be one of my favourite sessions! These two are so sweet together and are always smiling and laughing with each other.

After taking photos with the blossoms, we headed to the Alberta Legislature to take some photos there too. Rob had proposed to Kelsey at the Legislature building and so we had to get some photos done there too. I had a blast hanging out with these two and can’t wait for their wedding!
