I was bringing up props and stuff to the house to do Oliver’s One Year, Edmonton Cake Smash Session. Laura had left the door a little bit open for me to bring it inside. I looked up and there’s Oliver standing at the door waiting! I was in such aww since I had done Oliver’s newborn photos, 3 months, 6 months, 9 months. It was amazing to see how much he changed every few months. I can only imagine how exciting it was for his parents too!!
Oliver was so excited he didn’t want to sit down until his dad came by and played his favourite country tune. He sat down and just listened and danced a little. Every time I have photographed Oliver we have used the same Harry Potter props. I love being able to see how much he has changed with the props each time. Before we could put the cake down, Oliver was trying to get his hands on it. At first he was upset about it because he doesn’t like having his hands dirty. His parents gave him his favourite spatula and after that he had a blast!!
