Calgary Baker Park Wedding : Cara + Joshua

It was a crazy hot Saturday in August, not a cloud in the sky, and I was delighted to be apart of Cara and Joshua’s Calgary Baker Park Wedding. Cara got ready at her family home surrounded by her bridesmaids and family. Cara looked so beautiful as her mom helped her into her wedding dress. I find this to be such a sweet moment to see moms do up their daughters dresses. There’s always a lot of smiles at each other and Cara and her mom had the biggest smiles.

The chairs started to fill at Baker’s Park and everyone was filled with excitement waiting to see these two tie the knot. After promising an eternity to one another, they made their exit across the park to say hello to everyone. Their smiles were as bright as the sun was that day, but really who could blame them?! They had just married their best friend, their better half and that is always going to be the BEST day!

Cara had planned to make sure we had a lot of time for photos in-between the Ceremony and Reception. It was a very relaxed day and we just wondered around the park taking photos every where we thought was a good spot! This also allowed the bridal party to take an ice cream break at the store in the park too. On a crazy hot day, an ice cream break is always the best! I could spend all day with these two taking photos. They are so natural together and you can see how in love they are by the way they look at each other.
