Whitecourt Golf and Country Club Wedding | Katelyn + Taylor

Katelyn and I had met 5 years ago while attending photography school in Kelowna. It was a huge honour to be asked to photograph Katelyn and Taylor’s wedding! Katelyn and Taylor had met shortly before she moved out to Kelowna for school. Katelyn packed up and moved down to BC to purse her dreams. After a short while of Katelyn being gone, Taylor decided he couldn’t be without her. Taylor moved down to Kelowna to be with her and after school, they both moved back to Whitecourt. I met all the girls at the salon when I arrived into Whitecourt. Katelyn had lost her voice a bit and had to try to be silent to save her voice for the ceremony. I felt bad for her but she took it with stride and didn’t seem to affect her. It was her wedding day and nothing was going to keep her from having the most amazing day!

It was a very warm October day and the sun was shinning for their beautiful ceremony. I loved when the two of them read out their personal vows to one another. You could see the tears in their eyes as they read them. You can definitely tell that Taylor is someone who captured her whole heart and that Katelyn has his. After the ceremony we headed out to a spot in Whitecourt that they love. They have the greatest bridal party and all of us just clicked. I loved how much fun everyone was having and were all so relaxed and giggling the entire time.

The bridal party headed back up to the cars while we focused some time on just the two of them. These two together are a serious knockout! It obviously helps that they have been in front of the camera a bit because it was such a breeze getting to capture these moments. Looking at the two of them in love reminds me of why I love my job SO much and that I am beyond lucky to capture these moments. Two beautiful people who are madly in love and I get to be apart one of the happiest days of their lives.

Their day had no shortage of hugs, tears, laughter and smiles! Taylor and his brother preformed a beautiful song at the reception. It was one of the most amazing things I have seen at a reception to date! As I packed up for the night and got ready to leave the reception, the dance floor was packed! Everyone was dancing their hearts out! How lucky am I to be apart of such an amazing Whitecourt Golf and Country Club Wedding? Congrats you two!
