Vegreville Wedding Photographer
I am so excited to share Kelsey and Rob’s wedding on my blog today! These two are adorable together and anyone can see that from just spending time with them. Check out Kelsey and Rob’s Vegreville wedding below!
Getting Ready
I started the day off with the boys getting ready. Getting Ready photos for guys is always quick and as well they usually head to the ceremony way before the girls. When Rob read his letter from Kelsey that morning it was so sweet. You could tell he was so excited to marry his best friend. After he read the letter, Rob popped some champagne (With some help from one of the groomsmen), and had a toast to the day.
I headed over to where the girls were at. You could tell immediately that the two flower girls, Callie and Marlow were so excited for the day. I ended up getting a few sweet moments of them with their Aunt Kelsey too. Kelsey also had a letter to read from Rob. I always love when the bride and groom exchange letters to one another on their wedding day. Everyone left the room to finish getting ready and let Kelsey read the letter. Just off to the side was Kelsey’s dad watching her and you could tell how happy he was watching her read it.
Ceremony
The first thing I noticed when I walked into the church was the sun shinning through the windows. Kelsey and Rob tied the knot with all their closest friends and family watching. After the ceremony, we headed outside for photos. When I first met with Kelsey and Rob, they told me that no matter the temperture they wanted outdoor photos. I had prepared myself for -30 when they said that but thank goodness it was only -5 that day. I knew taking photos of this bridal party would be a breeze. As Kelsey and Rob were so sweet during their engagement session that I barely had to say anything. This was also my second wedding in Vegreville, as I had also taken photos from Kelsey’s brother’s wedding, Desurae and Kyler.
I was absolutely right when I thought this bridal party would be a breeze to take photos of. Everyone was smiling the whole day, even in the cold. Which doesn’t happen always… i’ve had those winter weddings where the bridal party isn’t thrilled to be outside. The afternoon was full of fireball shots (to keep them warm), champagne toasts and a few dabs along the way.
Reception
First off, I love love love the decor at Kelsey and Rob’s reception! All the lights throughout the reception and the LOVE sign on the stage made for the perfect touch to this winter wedding. The speeches were sooo good at the wedding. I always love hearing the speeches at weddings because you always get to hear some really good stories about the bride and groom. There was one story about Kelsey and Rob shaving their heads for cancer. Kelsey’s mom and dad brought a pink wig to include it in their speech. That’s pretty incrediable!
Every detail was beautiful and sweet and honestly, I couldn’t imagine a better day for this incredible couple.
Leave these two some love below and if they get 20 comments on this blog post, they will receive a complimentary 8×10″ print of their favorite wedding day image!
