Pioneer House Wedding Photos | Sara + Josh

I had been looking forward to Sara and Josh’s wedding day for some time. I knew it was going to be a beautiful day, despite the rain we were having that day. Their ceremony was set to be outside at The Fort Saskatchewan Museum Grounds but was moved indoors to the Pioneer House. Which I loved the pioneer house with all the wood and arches above surrounding them. After the ceremony, the rain had stopped. Hurray! Before we took off to do photos, Sara went and grabbed their wedding cake. It was so cute with the ninja turtle peeking out from under their cake. Josh is a huge fan of The Mutant Ninja Turtles and had some great socks on for his wedding day. Of course the groomsmen had matching socks which worked out well for a good photo of them.

The boys left after the ceremony to grab their bikes for a few photos. The rain had stopped and we wanted them in a few photos before the rain would continue. So we went over to the Fort Saskatchewan Museum Grounds to do some photos of the girls. The bridesmaids were cracking a few jokes and making themselves laugh. Which was so GREAT for photos of the three of them together! Then the sheep came out of their pen at the perfect moment. We were able to get some photos of everyone with the sheep hanging out in the background. The one of Sara and Josh and the sheep is one of my favourites!! The two sheep look like their about to kiss around the fence.

Just as we finished up with the boys and their bikes, there was a crack of thunder. So they took off to get them back home before getting drenched in the rain. They got a little bit but it would have been a lot worse too. It was so adorable to see these two so in love with one another and so sweet looking at each other! It’s pretty easy to know that they were truly made for one another. Their wedding day truly was beautiful and I am so glad to have gotten to be apart of it.
