I was absolutely thrilled when I heard they were building an ice castle in Edmonton. I decided I had to do some sort of styled shoot in the ice castle. I of course wanted to do a wedding themed shoot there because that is my passion. I found out there was a cost associated in shooting at the ice castle and figured it would be a great time to collaborate with another photographer. The two of us would be able to dream up something amazing! I met Kelly from Friday Design + Photography and she was all for it! We decided to do a Nordic Ice Castle styled shoot there. We started planning it and to be honest I never knew how time consuming it really is. I am so grateful for the experience and love how everything turned out. I would love to do another one in the future soon.
When planning our Nordic Ice Castle Styled Shoot, we picked out details that fit. The Lainee by Christos is an elegant lace and silk chiffon wedding dress that we all thought fit our them perfectly. Kelly had designed the table set up and did an amazing job with the details of it. I had such an amazing time during this shoot and got to meet some amazing people in the process. I laughed the entire time during the shoot because Stephanie and Sean were joking around with each other. Which I think helped them cut any awkwardness out of it! I love every image and the vibrant colour the ice gave off during the shoot!
Thank You to everyone who was apart of this amazing styled shoot! It was better then I ever could have dreamed and look forward to working with everyone in the future!
