Tanisha and Zach
Tanisha and her bridesmaids were getting ready over at Tanisha and Zach’s house that morning. They were all so happy and couldn’t wait to leave for the ceremony! Right before they got dressed, they headed out to the backyard to pop some champagne in celebration. It was a little tricker to get it to pop but once they all pitched in, it popped right away.
Zach and Tanisha did a first look at the Leduc Stone Barn Garden before their guests arrived. There is a lake right beside the gardens and beautiful long dock. Zach stood at the end of the dock, peering out to the water and waiting for Tanisha to arrive. Once Tanisha was halfway down the dock, I got Zach to turn around and see her finally. They both had the biggest smiles on their faces when they saw one another. There were a few tears and Zach even helped brush them off of Tanisha’s cheek for her!
They tied the knot under the Stone Barn and it was such a gorgeous day! I thought it was so unique that the flower girls had balloons instead…so I guess the balloon girls? Anyway, it was such a unique idea! The Leduc Stone Barn is a fabulous venue and just out of Edmonton. one of my favorite spots!
The Reception
We did family and bridal photos before the ceremony. I am so happy we did because it ended up raining right after Tanisha and Zach walked back down the aisle as a married couple! We headed to the reception to stay dry. Their reception was downtown at Freemason’s Hall. It was my first time being there and I loved the brick outside of it. After dinner, we snuck outside to do a few more photos since we got rained on earlier. Zach and Tanisha, I swear smiled the entire day! Everyone was so full of love for these two it made my heart full of all the beautiful things.
During the speeches, Zach’s parents stood up to say a few words. They walked up with a big gift bag. They started pulling out items that Zach had left behind at their house and the entire reception was laughing. It was so sweet and I loved how they managed to get everyone to laugh! Congrats to the two of you and I wish you both all the best!!!
Leave these two some love in the comments and if they get 20 comments on this blog post, they will receive a complimentary 8×10″ print of their favorite wedding day image.
