Getting Ready
Kim and Scott first met when a mutual friend set them up together on a date. Now they are married and about to go on their honeymoon tomorrow too! I absolutely loved hanging out with the girls in the morning and getting to know them better. The morning was very relaxed as they got their hair and make-up done at Kim’s parent’s house. Kim got into her dress and did a few final touches before the ceremony at Fort Edmonton Park. We could see Scott and the groomsmen chatting below the hotel and the girls couldn’t resist peeking out the window. It was actually very sweet!
Kim and Scott got married at St Michaels and All Angels Anglican Church in the park. I absolutely love this church. It is so beautiful inside and gives each ceremony an intimate feel as well. After the ceremony, we explored the park taking photos. Kim and Scott are so sweet together and I love how easily they make one another smile. After photos were almost done, we headed to the front entrance to take a few more photos. Kim and Scott’s adorable pups were stopping by for a few photos with them! Dolly and Daisy were so excited to see their parents. After they got over their first initial excitement, they came and sat so perfectly next to Kim and Scott. They basically looked right at me for the photos…which never happens with dogs!
The Reception at Clerks Quarters
I wasn’t surprised when I saw that their favors were baseball beer cozy’s. Kim and Scott both share a passion for baseball and had their entire baseball team at the wedding. We had also done some baseball photos in their engagement photos too. I love how Kim and Scott’s wedding day included details that were a reflection of their personalities. Each bridesmaid and groomsmen did a little speech for Kim and Scott. Kim’s sister included a very sweet quote by Dr. Seuss in her speech. “We are all a little weird and life’s a little weird, and when we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours, We join up with them and fall in mutual weirdness and call it love”
I am so grateful to have been apart of Kim and Scott’s beautiful Fort Edmonton Park Wedding! Congrats to the two of you on starting your forever together!! Have a great honeymoon!
