Kim and Steve are one in a million.  They are a couple that is so sweet together, know how to make each other laugh and have so much heart. Their day was filled with tears, laughter, dancing, love (obviously), dinosaurs, donuts and much more! It was the most beautiful day and even with everything that was happening, Kim and Steve were focused on each other.

The Getting Ready

Kim and all her bridesmaids got ready at Kim’s parent’s house! Kim’s shoes were pretty amazing and they were a must have for sure. She had learned they were the last pair in her size in all of Canada. She got them and they are absolutely stunning! Steve had left a gift for Kim with the bridesmaids to give to Kim. It was a gorgeous blue ring that Kim had been wanting. Her reaction was absolutely priceless! As the girls got ready, the boys were getting ready in one of the rooms at the Timms Centre for the Arts. My second shooter, Naomi was there to capture some photos of them before heading down the hall to the ceremony.

Ceremony

Kim and Steve had a beautiful ceremony at the Timms Centre for the Arts. I absolutely loved the high ceilings and all the windows in there. There was a lot of tears from everyone during the ceremony, which was so sweet. We took a few photos around the U of A after the ceremony before heading down the Louise McKinney Park.

The Reception

Their reception was at the cutest venue in Gibbons! The Goose Hummock Golf Course is located right next to Jurassic Forest. Although there are no dinosaurs on the golf course, you do see a few while driving in. Before heading into the Reception, Kim and Steve popped some champagne for the bridal party. Kim and Steve had the best introductions written for their bridal party! The entire reception was in laughter during them and honestly, that never happens! After the first dances, we headed out to the golf course for a few sunset photos. Which is one of my favorite things to do with my couples. It gives them a few mins away to relax. Two of the bridesmaids came with me to help during the photos. We ended up doing some really fun photos with all of them together.

I have no way of truly thanking you two for choosing me to capture the moments of your day! We had a blast and loved seeing you two get married!
