Edmonton Oasis Centre Wedding

Getting Ready

One of my favourite things about an Edmonton Oasis Centre Wedding is the fact that everything is done in one location. The girls got ready in a suite down the hall from where the boys were getting ready. The girls relaxed in the suite, drinking champagne and chatting all together. Katrina was so excited to for her wedding and I loved getting  to hang out with all of them before heading downstairs to the ceremony. Katrina and Chad had an incredibly fun bridal party and you could tell just how EXCITED everyone was for them to be married!

Katrina and Chad tied the knot in the ballroom of the Oasis Centre. I adored that they had one of their best friends be the flower girl. She had the be the most perfect flower girl in a flower crown and a stunning pink dress. They had a gorgeous flower arch that they stood by and it was stunning! There were a lot of tears shed and A LOT of smiles as Katrina and Chad said their “I Do’s”

Following the ceremony, the guests headed into the back garden for cocktail hour and champagne. The guests got to mingle with one another before the reception opened up for dinner.

Reception

Following cocktail hour, it started to rain a little bit. We snuck back into the reception to photograph the details and took a few photos of the happy couple. It gave Katrina and Chad a few minutes to just be together alone before everyone joined them in the reception. The reception was gorgeous and had flowers everywhere! It was so pretty in there!

After dinner, we snuck back out into the garden for more photos. We had to cut photos short due to the rain but after dinner, the sun was out and it was a perfect time for more photos of Katrina and Chad! I loved seeing these two be goofy in a few photos together and just have fun while taking photos. Katrina and Chad are adorable together and didn’t take their eyes off one another the entire time. So cute!

As soon as the first dances were complete, an epic dance party happened. The dance floor was packed and everyone was out dancing. Trust me, that doesn’t always happen right away at weddings either. It sometimes takes a little while to get everyone onto the dance floor.
