Oh where to start with this gorgeous Country Lodge Wedding ! I met Jim and Jen at Louise McKinney Park to do their first look. Jim and his groomsmen made their way down to the bridge. Which if you don’t know the couple, this is where Jim proposed to Jen!! It was the most perfect spot to do their first look. When Jim turned around, Jen took his breath away. I think she took everyone’s breath away because she was stunning! Jen and Jim’s radiant smiles and pure kindness is so infectious! They make everyone around them smile from ear to ear. I think that will be a huge advantage these two will have in marriage!!!
We arrived at the country lodge and their ceremony was all set up. It was so amazing and I couldn’t wait to see these two tie the knot! I had a hard time stopping portrait time with these two, because they were so much fun to be with. Jen and Jim didn’t forget any detail of their wedding. I adored their vintage key guest seating chart, their delicious desserts, table numbers and wedding favours. Everything was tied in together. On their first date, they went for tea and played board games at a local coffee shop in Edmonton. They tied in the scrabble tiles throughout their wedding and their favours were their favourite tea and flavoured honey sticks!!
The evening kicked off with a swing dancing lesson for all their guests from David + Tanzi. Everyone got to learn a little swing dance, so they could dance the night away with the couple. Which is how these two originally met was swing dancing! These two rocked their first dance and I was so amazed to watch them.
Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Harrott! Your day was beautiful and we couldn’t be happier that you chose me to document this special day in your lives!
Loved this old vintage car they rented for their day!
