As you scroll through these photos you might recognize me in the bridal party. Yup I am in the bridal party and that’s not someone who looks like me lol. Ashley is one of the oldest friends I have. We met while I was in grade 2 and I had been going door to door selling chocolates for my school. I met Ashley for the first time on her driveway and then many many other times while at the hockey rink. Our brothers had been playing hockey on the same team. Ashley and Dave had first met at a local bar in St.Albert. I knew this was it by the way she would light up when talking about or smiling at Dave!

Ashley and Dave couldn’t wait to be married any longer and set a date for this summer. It was a shorter timeline but everything came together beautifully. I was so excited to be a bridesmaid and to capture their day as it unfolded as a photographer as well. We had to hustle a little during the bridal party photos because we had a dark storm cloud coming up. We definitely dodged the rain that day! I would set up the shot for the entire bridal party and then run back into the photo. Ashley’s amazing sister was there to help me on the camera end and pressing the shutter when it was time. We really could not have pulled this off without her.

I am especially excited to share these images on my blog today. It really was an amazing day, especially when you add in all of the incredible people to be around and there was a ton of desserts! Which Me and another couple of bridesmaids tried all of. (Don’t worry we split them lol) Ash, you made a beautiful bride and Dave made the most perfect groom for you!  I am beyond lucky to have been with you on the most magical day!
