I drove into the driveway to Ally’s parents home and saw the most beautiful property. They had a barn being built (Which I am sure will be great when it is done), a little pond down the road and of course the most gorgeous trees on their property. Ally and Jess were getting married in the backyard of the property and the trees were swept over top of them. Absolutely Stunning!  Also, I think backyard weddings make the most amazing wedding venues! Jess arrived and we walked down to where the pond was on the property for the first look. She faced toward the pond and then Ally made her way down the driveway to see one another. Of course there was a few tears of joy and many smiles when Jess first turned around.

We explored the property with the bridal party and even went up into the barn for a few photos. So many amazing spots for photos just in the backyard of the property. Ally and Jess had wrote their own vows (which I think every couple should) for their ceremony. As they read them out to one another, you could see the emotions of everyone attending the ceremony. After the ceremony, everyone enjoyed a few cocktails to celebrate and then headed into the reception for a BBQ dinner. One of the reason’s I love intimate weddings, is because everyone can be themselves, hang out with their closest friends and family and just focus on the couple.

Ally and Jess had the best favours to send with their guests at the end. You really can’t go wrong with homemade Bailey’s, coffee and s’mores cookies! I am so grateful I was able to be apart of your special day and thank you for trusting me to document your day for you! Congrats Ally + Jess!
