Kelsey and Kyle’s Edmonton Ice Castle Engagement Session

I’m a little late in posting this Edmonton Ice Castle Engagement up on my blog. It was about a year ago I meet Kelsey and Kyle at the Wedding Fair. They were getting married out East, where Kelsey is from. They wanted to do their engagement session here at the Ice Castles in Edmonton. Kelsey moved out to Edmonton for a fresh start and ended up meeting Kyle the first week she was here. What is the chance that these two meet the same week she moves out here!

The day we did Kyle and Kelsey’s engagement session, we made sure to go right when the Ice Castle’s opened that day to avoid a crowd. There was still quite a few people but they didn’t get in the way. Most people see your taking photos and try to avoid you. Which is so nice! The details of the ice at the ice castle are absolutely breathtaking! I adore taking photos here and can’t wait for the Ice Castle to open up this year too. It’s been a pretty warm winter so far but hopefully they can open up soon.

One of the things I love about Hawrelak Park in the winter is the fact that you have two locations in one spot. You can head to the Ice Castles and then you also have Hawrelak park right there. Hawrelak Park is one of my favorites spots because it is on the river and has some amazing tall trees. This Edmonton Ice Castle Engagement Session was so much fun.
