Ashley and Wes’s Edmonton Ice Castle Engagement Session
This Edmonton Ice Castle Engagement Session isn’t technically even an engagement session. It kind of is though. Let me explain, every one of my wedding packages includes an engagement session in it. I think it’s so important to do an engagement session before you get married. I have so many reasons but maybe I will hold off and do a blog post on that lol. We didn’t end up doing Ashley and Wes’s engagement session prior to their wedding. Things came up and we basically ran out of time. Which was absolutely fine! Ashley had really wanted to do photos at the Ice Castle and if we did do their engagement session before, then we would have done it in the summer.
We did their “engagement session”, which I guess is more like a couple’s session after their wedding. Which was great because I got to see them after their wedding too! We did their Ice Castle session about a year ago now. I got behind in blogging this past year and I am just getting caught up on blogging all my favorite sessions now.
It looks a bit cold but it was actually pretty warm that day! Since it was warm out that day, it turned out to be a little busy at the Edmonton Ice Castles. That didn’t seem to matter, because everyone seemed to stay out of the way when they saw us taking photos. Since I had shot their wedding prior, I knew this was going to be an amazing session! These two are full of laughter and smiles whenever they are together. Since the Ice Castles are in Hawrelak Park in Edmonton, we took the opportunity to do a few photos in the park as well. It has so many great spots in the park, so might as well use them! I’ve posted a few of my favorites from this Edmonton Ice Castle Engagement Session below!
